Congratulations to Gareth and Maxine who celebrated there wedding at the amazing East Bridgford Hill. On what was the coldest day of the year so far and with snow falling the day prior I was hoping for a winter wonderland scene.
Unfortunately there was no snow in sight. Almost as if the snow completely missed this area.
The venue was decked in all the beautiful Christmas trimmings, I just wanted some snow to go with it. Maxine was walked down the stair way by her step farther and then handed over to her father at the bottom. It was a beautiful gesture for 2 equally important people in Maxine's life.
The walk down the stairway was witnessed by guests who gathered at the around the Christmas tree at the bottom. Following a wonderful ceremony, guests braved the cold air for some traditional family photos before I whisked Gareth and Maxine away for some photos.
As a UK and Nottingham wedding photographer, I have photographed hundreds of wedding venues. I have only visited East Bridgford Hill a few times though and just hope I get the pleasure to visit much more.
This beautiful venue is almost a secret. (well not now) as in not many people now about it. Tentative to every need where nothing is too much trouble, you actually get the feeling the staff love working here and love there job. (now how many times can you say that). They all seem to go out of their way and even get to know guests names especially the kids. Amazing..
The food was Wow.. The comments I heard from all the guests was about how amazing it was.
Guests was treated to magic by Will Graham who blew everyone away.
Music throughout the afternoon was was provided by pianist Paul Ricard.
Guests also enjoyed the Photo Kiosk allowing them to take home personal photo framed mementos.
Dancing was none stop and the party was still in full swing when I left at 10:30pm Oh and guess what.. We had snow in the evening.. Yeh....
I hope you enjoy this preview of Gareth and Maxine's wedding at East Bridgford Hill.
