Congratulation's on your pregnancy, this is such a memorable experience for you, and one you should cherish. Your body will go through many changes, and while not everyone will have the perfect pregnancy. One thing is for sure, nothing is more special than carrying a baby, you will be glowing and looking beautiful (even though you may not feel it) Documenting this occasion is something to look back on and be proud of. Imagine, in a few year's time, sitting with your little one and sharing beautiful images of you when you were carrying.

The best time to document your pregnancy is in your 3rd trimester preferably between 32-36 weeks. This is when your baby will be fully grown and your bump at its most beautiful.

Your pregnancy maternity photo session will take place in the photo studio based at the beautiful Rufford Abbey Country Park where I have controlled lighting, a range of backgrounds, dresses, and other accessories are all available. The studio is easily accessible with free car parking available for all my customers. We can even pop out into the woods if you would like to mix things up a little.

You and your partner and any other children you may have are all welcome to attend the photo session. It is such a wonderful image, being able to capture you all as a family, hugging your baby to be. As you can see in the images on this page, the focus will be on your tummy. You do not need to be naked or even in your underwear if you prefer not to, you can just wear a simple dress or even a shirt that can be unbuttoned to show your bump. I also have a range of wraps and dresses which you can use to cover and protect your modesty.

Covid-19 And Your Safety

Upon your arrival and even before you enter the door you will find hand sanitizer and sealed bags with disposable face-mask and gloves inside. These are provided for you and can be found on a small table outside the studio door. As a minimum, you will be asked to sanitize your hands.

I personally, for your own protection will be wearing a face-mask, Gloves, and an apron. These extra precautions may change according to any changes advised by the government.

The photo studio is disinfected each morning, and again after every photo session. Hand sanitizer is used multiple times throughout each photo session. The cleanliness and care of my clients are paramount.

The Photography Studio

Located in the historic, idyllic Rufford Abbey Country Park is my photography studio. This is where I also carry out any indoor family portraits and cake smash sessions. When you arrive for your photography session, you can relax on the sofa, make a hot drink or help yourself to cold drinks which are all readily available. The Studio is equipped with Baby changing facilities, stocks of nappies, talcum powder, sudocrem, nappy bags and just about every other essential is all kept in stock for you to use.
